The Minister of Digitalization and Public Administration, Lulëzon Jagxhiu, met with the Executive Director of the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC), Kazunori Ogawa.
During the meeting, Minister Jagxhiu presented key reforms and initiatives in Kosovo’s digital transformation, from the transition to cloud technology and the modernization of the government network, to the construction of data infrastructure, to the implementation of Very High Capacity Networks (VHCN) at the national level.
JBIC is Japan’s strategic financial pillar for overseas investments, infrastructure and economic partnerships. In order to deepen economic cooperation with Japan, cooperation with JBIC was assessed as an important opportunity to support and finance capital projects in the field of ICT.
