The Minister of Digitalization and Public Administration, Lulëzon Jagxhiu, participated in the Dardania AI Infrastructure Summit, where Dardania AI’s ambitious project for building an Artificial Intelligence infrastructure in Kosovo was presented. Together with representatives of global industry leaders such as NVIDIA, Vertiv and Submer, investment companies and international partners, the forum discussed global trends in Artificial Intelligence infrastructure, building sovereign AI capacities in Europe and the role that Kosovo can play in this development.

During the panel, Minister Jagxhiu highlighted the competitive advantages that position Kosovo as an attractive destination for investments in technology and Artificial Intelligence. He pointed out that our country offers a powerful combination of factors that support this potential: a developed and rapidly growing ICT sector, the youngest population in Europe, talented professionals who are proving their competitiveness in the global market every day, favourable fiscal policies, as well as a clear focus of the Government on digital transformation and building digital infrastructure.

Minister Jagxhiu also emphasized that digital transformation and the reduction of administrative burden not only improve public services for citizens and businesses, but also create a more favourable environment for strategic investments. According to him, a more efficient public administration, simpler procedures and a modern digital infrastructure are key elements for attracting investments in high-value sectors, such as Artificial Intelligence.

He underlined that building AI infrastructure is an extraordinary opportunity for economic development, creating new jobs, advancing innovation and strengthening strategic partnerships. At the same time, he positions Kosovo as an active contributor to the European Artificial Intelligence ecosystem and in building sovereign AI capacities.

Through such projects and by continuing investments in talent, infrastructure and digital transformation, Kosovo can become an increasingly attractive destination for strategic investments in the digital economy.
