The Minister of Digitalization and Public Administration, Lulezon Jagxhiu, participated in the ministerial roundtable dedicated to strengthening cyber capacities in the Western Balkans, which was held at the French Senate within the framework of the Paris Cyber Summit 2026.
The ministerial roundtable was opened by French Senator Olivier Cadic and brought together ministers, senior officials and international experts to discuss cybersecurity challenges, hybrid threats and strengthening regional and international cooperation.
Together with counterparts from the Western Balkan countries, Minister Jagxhiu discussed strengthening cyber capacities, security challenges in an increasingly complex environment and the importance of international cooperation for building more resilient institutions and safer public services.
During his speech, he emphasized that cybersecurity is no longer just a technical issue, but an essential element of national security, democratic stability and the functioning of the state. He also reaffirmed Kosovo’s commitment to advancing digital transformation, strengthening cybersecurity and expanding partnerships with friendly countries and international institutions, aiming at building sustainable capacities in line with European standards.
Minister Jagxhiu also emphasized that cyber resilience is built through strong institutions, qualified professionals, trust and close cooperation with international partners.
He underlined that cybersecurity is a shared responsibility that requires coordination, trust and joint action at the regional and international levels.
As one of the most prestigious events in the field of cybersecurity, the Paris Cyber Summit serves as a platform for discussing policies, partnerships and solutions that shape the future of digital security in Europe and beyond.
