Digital platform for cybersecurity launched: All civil servants will be trained to protect public systems

Now, all civil servants will be trained in cybersecurity through the digital platform that was launched today!

The Ministry of Digitalization and Public Administration, through the Kosovo Institute for Public Administration (KIPA), with the support of the Luxembourg Agency for Development Cooperation – LuxDev, launched today the Cybersecurity Training Platform for Civil Servants.

At the launch ceremony, the Minister of Digitalization and Public Administration, Lulëzon Jagxhiu, emphasized the importance of building professional and institutional capacities in the field of cybersecurity, highlighting the role of civil servants in protecting public systems and data.

He emphasized that the program represents an important step towards advancing professional development in public administration, through the e-learning model and the development of digital skills at the institutional level.

The Chargé d’Affaires at the Embassy of Luxembourg in Kosovo, Mr. Eric Dietz, praised the inter-institutional cooperation and the importance of investing in stronger, more secure and more resilient public institutions in the face of digital challenges.

During the event, a panel discussion was also held on the topic “The strategic importance and role of cybersecurity in the public sector”, with the participation of experts and institutional representatives in the field.

 The training platform will serve as an important tool for advancing the knowledge and professional skills of civil servants in the field of cybersecurity.
