Minister Lulëzon Jagxhiu welcomed the United Nations Development Coordinator, Stephen O’Malley, accompanied by the heads of UN agencies in Kosovo, for a meeting.
The meeting discussed the deepening of cooperation between the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo and United Nations agencies, with a particular focus on advancing the agenda of digitalization and public administration reform.
In particular, concrete opportunities for cooperation with each agency in various fields were addressed, with the aim of improving services for citizens, increasing efficiency, accountability and transparency in governance, as well as promoting inclusiveness in policymaking.
For his part, Mr. O’Malley reconfirmed his readiness to continue and deepen cooperation, as well as to further support Kosovo institutions.
Meanwhile, Minister Jagxhiu highly praised the continued support of United Nations agencies, emphasizing that it remains one of the key elements for advancing reforms and realizing the country’s development priorities.
