A meeting was held at the Ministry of Digitalization and Public Administration with the
General Secretaries of the ministries, where the progress of draft laws, regulations and
recruitment processes was discussed, with the aim of coordinating actions to accelerate the
implementation of reforms within the framework of the Growth Plan.
The meeting was organized after the meeting of the Growth Plan Implementation Committee,
with the aim of coordinating actions between the institutions responsible for implementing
the reforms.
In her opening remarks, the General Secretary of the Ministry of Digitalization and Public
Administration, Ms. Flurije Durmishi, thanked the Chief Negotiator of the Government of the
Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Jeton Zulfaj, as well as the participants of this meeting, for their
support and commitment in creating a joint forum for discussing issues related to draft laws,
regulations and recruitment procedures.
Secretary Durmishi appreciated the importance of this cooperation, aiming to improve and
advance these processes in public administration.
Kosovo’s Chief Negotiator with the European Union and Coordinator for the Reform and
Growth Instrument, Mr. Jeton Zulfaj, presented the priorities and steps necessary to
accelerate the implementation of reforms, emphasizing the importance of inter-institutional
coordination and respecting agreed deadlines.
During the meeting, the progress of draft laws and the strategy was discussed, as well as the
acceleration of the adoption and implementation of regulations on the internal organization of
ministries and subordinate bodies.
Also, there was discussion about accelerating recruitment processes and filling vacant and
acting positions in the state administration, in line with the objectives of public administration
reform.
In conclusion, the importance of continuous inter-institutional coordination and the
commitment of all institutions to fulfill the reforms and achieve the objectives of the Growth
Plan within the established deadlines was reiterated.
