On the occasion of the International Day of Girls in ICT, Minister Lulëzon Jagxhiu participated in the conference organized by Women in Tech in Kosovo
The importance of empowering girls and women in technology, as well as their role in the development of ICT and the digital transformation of the country were emphasized thereto.
Over 50% of computer science students in Kosovo are girls.
Minister Jagxhiu underlined the importance and commitment towards the inclusion of girls and women in ICT, through 7,000 STEM scholarships distributed in the last 4 years, of which 85% have been dedicated to girls
It is important to continue working in collaboration with organizations like Women in Tech to increase the inclusion of girls and women in the technology sector
