MINISTER JAGXHIU VISITS KUTIA AS PART OF #OPENTECHTHURSDAYS

Open Tech Thursdays | #03
This week, the #OpenTechThursdays initiative included a visit to Kutia.

The meeting focused on the direction of the digital transformation of public services and administration
in Kosovo—ranging from eKosova 2.0, life-event-based services, and the integration of artificial
intelligence, to government-wide platforms connecting internal systems, interoperability, the cloud
transition, and cybersecurity.

Discussions also covered Kutia’s journey and the company’s ongoing transformation to adapt to the
rapid technological developments of recent years.

Minister Lulëzon Jagxhiu highlighted Kutia as a prime example of how Kosovo’s tech talent can be
transformed into expertise and digital solutions that compete in the international market. From
software development and specialized engineering teams to blockchain and artificial intelligence, the
company has spent over a decade building solutions for clients both in Kosovo and abroad.

During the visit, the company presented its current projects in areas such as e-health, e-legislation, e-
commerce, and blockchain. Discussions also addressed the challenges facing the sector, the role the
state can play in creating better conditions for its growth, and new opportunities for collaboration.
“Digital transformation requires technology and ideas, but above all, it requires people with the
knowledge, skills, and ambition to turn them into concrete solutions.”
That is precisely why Open Tech Thursdays exists: to meet the people working with technology every
day, to hear their ideas and challenges, and to see where new bridges of collaboration can be built for a
digital Kosovo.
