Following the Government’s approval of the initiative to conclude an international agreement with the European Union and the receipt of consent from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Minister Lulëzon Jagxhiu signed the decision today to establish the Negotiating Team for the inclusion of the Republic of Kosovo in the “EU Roam Like at Home” zone.
This decision paves the way for the start of negotiations to eliminate roaming charges between Kosovo and European Union countries.
With the establishment of the Negotiating Team and the drafting of the Law on Electronic Communications—currently in the public consultation phase—necessary steps are being taken to make Kosovo’s inclusion in the “EU Roam Like at Home” zone a reality as soon as possible, bringing tangible benefits to our citizens and businesses.
