#OPENTECHTHURSDAYS LAUNCHED AS MINISTER JAGXHIU VISITS DATA4X

Open Tech Thursdays | #01

The Minister of Digitalization and Public Administration, Lulëzon Jagxhiu, launched the #OpenTechThursdays initiative today—a series of regular visits and meetings to be held every Thursday with technology companies, organizations, academia, experts, and the tech community in Kosovo.

The first visit took place at Data4X, a successful local company specializing in data analytics and market intelligence, which transforms data into insights for business and decision-making.

The visit comes at a special moment for the company. Flandra Marmullaku, co-founder and Managing Partner of Data4X, has been named “ICT Woman Entrepreneur of the Year 2026” by the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC)—a regional recognition of her work in technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

“Data infrastructure, interoperability, and open data are at the heart of the digital transformation we are building. To make this transformation sustainable, we need a continuous dialogue with those who are building technology every day,” emphasized Minister Jagxhiu. Therefore, #OpenTechThursdays is not just a series of visits. It is an ongoing channel for dialogue: to discuss our digital policies and initiatives, gather input and suggestions, hear what is happening in the sector, understand the challenges, explore concrete ideas, and identify where we, as the Government, can do more.

Digital transformation cannot be achieved in isolation. It requires collaboration with the private sector, academia, civil society, and the technology community.

#OpenTechThursdays is a step toward this collaboration—to listen more, understand better, and build
better, together.”
