The duties and responsibilities of the Public Procurement Division are:
Prepares, coordinates and implements the Ministry’s annual plan in the field of procurement public, in accordance with the legislation in force;
Implements procurement activities, in accordance with the annual procurement plan. Ministry;
Ensures that all procurement requests are prepared in accordance with the rules and procurement procedures;
Defines the procurement methodology for tenders and the evaluation procedures offers;
Provides advice and assists management in making decisions regarding contentious issues that may arise in cases of contract execution;
Reviews requests for review of economic operators, represents them in appeal procedures conducted before the Procurement Review Body;
Collaborates, coordinates and develops objectives and activities with all institutional organizational structures.
Performs other duties according to the legislation in force on public procurement.
The Head of the Public Procurement Division reports directly to the Secretary General.
