The duties and responsibilities of the Department for Public Administration Reform are: To draft public administration reform policies based on needs and findings during the reporting and monitoring process;
To identify priorities related to public administration reform (PAR);
To coordinate and contribute to the development of strategic and planning documents for PAR, including the need for their updating;
To ensure consistency between strategic and planning documents for PAR, as well as their compliance with Government priorities and other Government strategic documents;
To ensure that the activities planned for the PAR are included in the documents related to the annual and multi-year budget planning and the annual work plan of the Ministry and the Government, as well as the Government's Legislative Program;
To analyse and monitor the implementation of strategic documents for PAR;
To prepare reports for the Minister and the Secretary General of the Ministry regarding the implementation of strategic documents related to PAR;
To support the open data system and the organization of meetings of the mechanisms responsible for the implementation and monitoring of the reform;
To assist and coordinate the planning, programming, monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of foreign aid, in activities that assist PAR, and determine the priorities of projects to be financed by donors;
To coordinate communication with donors in areas related to the PAR strategy and activities in the AP of PAR;
To assist in the organization of meetings of the Inter-Ministerial Committee for PAR, as well as prepare all materials needed for the Committee meetings;
To monitor and report on the process of implementing integrity and ethics in public administration;
